Is there any chance, that a short side inner from a 79-85 mini truck is the same as a short side inner from a 1992 FJ-80?

Thanks for the quick reply. Saves me from tearing the front apart again.. My front on my 80 started developing a grinding noise. I ripped it apart earlier today and found out that the short side inner splines on the carrier side are stripped. I didn't have a mini inner to meausure at the time.

I'll PM you about prices on a new set of inners.

Also anyone know if there is any vender that makes an aftermarket inner, say like a poly performance?

I figure if I am going to dump more money into this rig, I might as well lock and superbirf the front right away as long as I am in there. If I'm doing that, why stop at factory inners.
