Shops in California who have lifted 200's with success? Can any one recommend one or a few?

Any shop should be able to do it...I lifted mine on my own on three different occasions. There is nothing too special about it, other than the KDSS (which just needs to be opened during install - turn 2 bolts, 3.5 turns). I'm a little confused as to why you are looking for someone who has done this with 'success'...has their been a high failure rate in lifting 200s that I don't know about? Also, when you say lifted, how big do you wanna go? 2" is easy peasy, 6" may be more of an engineering challenge and too costly for no benefit.

If you are interested in suspension setups and looking for a shops advice, I would do the research here first. A shop will give you their interpretation of what the best brand is beat based upon their source of supply and markup.

I like independent off road/land cruiser shops to do this type of work on my vehicles, with a track record of working on land cruiser suspension. I specifically would like someone with knowledge of KIIS and its troubleshooting when car decides to lean. I am only looking to upgrade to OME HD kit. Even if I could find a stealership with a tech who KNOWS KIIS in and out, and would not mine installing aftermarket springs/shocks, I would go there.

In San Diego, the guys at The Truck Shop (independent Toyota and off road specialist) took care of mine along with some other goods. Looks like you did your homework, i went with same 2" OME HD - it rides really nice (on road), good performance off road and carries a heavy load (my requirement) both on and off road (both trailer and rack loads). No issues with lean & KDSS even after heavy articulation. After install I ended up swapping tires out to ~33" (275/70/18) Wrangler MT/R.

No affiliation.
The KDSS is really simple, it's not rocket science. Open the valves for install and shut when done = no lean. In fact, he first time I did a sus install on mine I didn't even bother with the KDSS and no issues.
If there is an issue, it's just a matter of bleeding them. Any Toyota service shop should be able to do that.

Good luck, hope you find a good place. You will be happy with the OME HD.

Thanks for all the replies! @chimyz Jay at TLC4x4 said they haven't lifted one yet....The Truck stop is a good call, I see those guys in Baja.
