As I will need to have it towed to the shop, looking for a location in the San Jose area.

I’m partial to A+ Japanese Auto. The owners have 80s if I’m not mistaken. They’ve done work on my 200, but as far as electrical work I’ve only had them do minor troubleshooting of an aftermarket issue.

In any case, they are worth checking out, but they are in San Carlos, so maybe about 20 miles up the 101 from San Jose.

Thanks again for the great recommendation. I have taken the opportunity to research Valley Hybrids / Georg here on Mud, who has an excellent reputation, and is a supporting vendor here on Mud. I will reach out to Georg aka Orangefj45 I also learned from the forums that Georg has escaped Silicon Valley (South San Francisco Bay Area) to relocate to Stockton, and is connected to Terrain Tamer.
