Any of you have a opinion about Monroe SENSA-TRAC for the rear shock.
(actual week special in Canadian Tire)

I am about to buy a set of 4 Doetsch-Tech 8000s for my new suspension. They are about $38US each from Summit Racing. I know it doesn't help you on the Monroes, but gives you another comparison and from what I've researched people think the DTs are an outstanding value for an all-round shock. How much are the Monroes???

They're good shocks at a reasonable price. I've put them on a '90 4-Runner and have been pleased with the results. Haven't tried them on a cruiser yet. How much in Quebec?

monroe are made in Owen Sound, Ontario and i have never heard anything bad about them...

do monroe also have manufacturing plants in America and Mexico? I'm curious as I've read that 'the largest shock manufacturing company in America that has plants in Canada, America and Mexico'... thing is I don't know who this is?

interestingly I've learned that Tenneco Automotive is the company behine Monroe that make both Monroe shocks and Rancho shocks amongst others... the more i learn about shock absorbers the more i'm comming to the opinion that the shock industry is very incestuous.
