shamelessly, and boldly stolen from a Ih8mud post.... I lost it twice and had to look it up again.... so I'll post it here so I can find it again
The diagram that I have is for stock stuff.
Do it like you were planning. The lead from the fuse to the common lead of your switch.
Then the Blue wire from the motor to good grounding source.
The your Blu/b will be park
and Blu/r , Blue/w are the 2 speeds. Run those to wires from your switch.
You are not wiring the washer so no problem,
You will have an extra wire you don't need. That I guess would be the third speed.
In the diagram one of the Blue/w wires could be blue/r in your motor.

thank you Vicm

spent some times on the issue - it's not oil - it's probably a intake gasket leak; ugh... it smoked up pretty good for awhile, but it started to reduce - whether that means tightening sealed it or simply reduced the flow... don't know, I suspect it's the latter oh well, I have to drain the system anyway to fix the timing cover leak... while I'm at it, I'll do both ...

Jeep parts (for later)

and I put a spacer in because I suspect there was a vacuum leak (it's a spreadbore base)

which meant shortening the base

wipers work

more hated wiring
but first... I'm putting keyed locks on all the various places - so I bought same-keyed locks so when I lose my keys I have to replace all of them again

some mods were required for the lock on the box

and then the wiring - bright side is this - I left the wires long then shortened as I finished

success with the keyless ignition

So my review of keyless... I'm not sure it's going to stay - it has a lag to shut down, that and the antenna needs to be pretty close to the fob to work... which could be problematic. As it's just been hooked up, my opinion may change.... but there's the initial nutshell

au contraire.... if there is no oil pan, it can't possibly be the oil pan that's leaking

round 2

I used a hoist to get the manifold unstuck- there's no smoking gun, but the instructions talk about how if you use the wrong adhesive it will cause leaks like I had... crossing fingers

oh, and I broke my ankle - of course, I did the wise thing and kept working with the idea that a doctor will want my knee and ankle elevated - so I put the manifold back on ... I should probably go see a doctor (so he can laugh at me) tomorrow.

that stupid warn winch is just handy enough that I keep it around - but I've had noodles with more strength

stepped off a step wrong - did a 1 meter intake manifold toss - just a flesh wound.... I hate having this knowledge because it would suggest I'm accident prone (I just play one in real life), but no (major) swelling, numb toe, and sore knee suggest I got a nerve beside a pretty solid sprain.... the nerve damage is the biggest worry.... so I get to see my sarcastic doctor today. I really don't like him - you'd think since I bought him his last sports car that he'd be happy to see me.... alas, no, he's hydrochloric acid acidic in his comments

Glad to know the bone is not actually broken. That would totally suck.

I am still recovering from a broken toe after a run-in with a door frame in my house over a month ago. I swear that door frame jumped out to attack me. Who was the idiot who put that frame there anyway. I would love to blame my dog. I was actually trying to get out of his way as he went barreling past me. Hard to blame him when he was staring up at me asking for a treat. He seems to enjoy knocking me down and even pushed over a ladder I was on last summer. That hurt. A few weeks ago he knocked my wife down who ruptured a disk in her back. I need to get him a job so he can pay our medical bills. Anyone know of any job openings for cute, but stupid Golden Retrievers?

While I am thinking of it. Shooting for Evans Creek next Saturday (9th). It opened today.

At least he's not a useless mastiff?

you haven't lived until you've had him making a run for the gate to "go for a ride with dad"

After my the einstein-smart bloodhounds, my next dog is going to be dumber then a post....

I wish it didn't.

so it runs again, but an injector isn't working right... so the saga continues...
in other news, the keyless ignition is going on something else. It has two flaws that I think are not appropriate for a 4x4: it has a delay between on and off, and you need to have your foot on the brake to turn the vehicle on and off.... maybe I'll put it on the fiat... I ordered a stock switch and may have some hole-repair work to do (yuck, means painting) but the bright side is there will be one key for the door locks and ignition and one for the lock boxes.... and no, I'm not doing a same-key for both - who knows, I may need a valet to park it and this will keep him out of the boxes ;)

Evans Creek is not for full size rigs though. It WILL eat your mirrors, sides, doors, windows, etc. there are only a couple trails tha won't. Maybe 5%. Better leave Evans for your 40.

you know, it's funny, people think the H3 is a whole lot larger than it really is.
Here's a line up

I thought I had the picture of all of us lined up when we were airing up on my photobucket... I don't, but you'd see that it's not that much larger than a '40, and it is smaller than a 4 door JK....

but the perception continues to exist - everyone thinks Hummer is huge, the H3 isn't... H2, H1, certainly.... but stop calling it fat :)

my wife is even funnier.... my first H3

and my wife was absolutely certain that it was smaller than this one... lol...

Your H3 isn't much different in size form A JK or FJ60. Still at Evans you will hit stuff.
