is it posible to shift from 2h to 4h on the fly in a 78 fj45?i,m scared to try

If your truck has drive plates on the front hubs, or if you have your lock outs, locked in, you will be fine.

I do it all the time, of course I drive a 60. Been driving with the hubs locked in all winter.
