I'm adding a rear tow hook to my (non North American) BJ60. I'm not sure if it has been removed at some point in the car's past, or if it never had one as it has a factory pintle hitch, but I would like to have it as I may not keep the pintle hitch on at all times (it's perfect for smashing my knee when loading the vehicle).
The hook, bolts, nuts and washers are still available new, but part reference 51966 'Rear hook retainer' is not. From what I see online, it is a simple square plate with two holes drilled, in which case it should be easily fabricated. I believe it was present on US FJ62s and some (maybe all) FJ60s.
Would anyone have this piece to hand, and be willing to share dimensions (length, width, thickness, hole size) please? It would be much appreciated!
