SFWDA 2 ed Quarter Meeting/Trail Ride

Southern’s 2ed Quarter Meeting will be held in Blairsville, GA on June 13th, 2009.
The meeting will begin at 9AM Eastern time.

Trail rides to the Beasley Knob trails will follow immediately after the meeting.
The Forest Service charges a $5 fee to ride.

There will be trailer parking available at the meeting, but not at the trails.
This means you will need to be able to drive 3 to 5 miles on pavement to reach the trails.
Pizza will be available at the Civic Center after the trail rides for $1 per slice.

Also on Saturday, ACC is hosting an open house of their shop on the 13th. I mention it because the it has been raining very regularly here in GA with more in the forecast; and trails at Beasley are closed when it rains (for safety ... steep muddy tractionless trails are viewed as unsafe by the management). If the trails do happen to get closed on the 13th, there will be options to enjoy the whole day.
