I have no clue. The pictures were taken in San Francisco because I recognize the park in them, but they are not in the location of the ad (marina). There are two ads up on craigslist. The price went up $1000 to $12,700 and it included lockers, but the other one didn't. I also email the seller and haven't heard back.

This was about a week ago. I also saw that same truck pop up on several different ads in the area. If the price is what it is and it's a real ad, it would have been long gone by now I'd guess.

On the first post that was listed @ $11,700, they did not specify if it had front and rear lockers. So I asked. All they replied was “front and rear”. Fair. I followed up with a reply and asked if I can see it since I’m in the area….and nothing. Maybe just busy? Who knows.

"Polished Turd"

Saw this car when it was first posted, I live 10 minutes away and checked it out. On the description it says "runs smooth". Once I got there the owner was paint spraying the interior with his buddy. So off the bat I get a bad feeling. Now he tells me there is an alternator issue and the car won't hold idle. I start the car and sure enough it stumbles. I see CEL, AT temp, and low oil pressure lights while I try to press the gas and keep the engine running and they do not turn off. Turned it off and dude yaps about an alternator issue and it should be fixed tomorrow. Right there and then I told him I was not interested. Just had SHADY written all over it. Just my 2 cents.

Body wise it is OK. No rust that I saw. Minor paint peels. DS door hand missing and so is the bottom rear latch handle. Engine bay looks like it was steam cleaned or pressure washed and WD40 detailed which turns me off right away. I did not bother test driving it.

Today I received a call back from the owner. He seemed straight forward. He is showing it in Saturday and will let me k ow if it’s still available. Also, he doesn’t think the transmission had been rebuilt.
