I ordered partial kit from Eibach, out of stock on rear shocks. I managed to get everything in kit but rear shocks. I ordered Kyb tops for coil overs and Icon aluminum series 2 rear shocks. Installed and carried her for alignment today.
My compressor is good and so are airbags, no leaks or anything. Anybody need them, hit me up and cover the shipping... I did cut the airlines so all the clips/retainers remain.
I figured the upper and lower control arm bushings and ball joints had enough so I replaced all four control arms. I replaced rear sway bar bushings with Energy Suspension bushings and front sway bar endlinks with new... She feels light on her feet now, perky even! I carried her on trailer to alignment shop and my wife drove her back home. First thing she said was *I want one

Looks great. Did you use the 2" or 2.8" setting on the front?

Another thing I can point out is that at the 14 plus years age of my Gx470 I have to reason that the front springs were in a sagging state, or, at a minimum, weaker than originally intended.
Point is; kit raised front more than 2.8 inches from the state it had been in...

Can you post the hub to fender measurement? I’m thinking of switching out my coilovers to this setup. What’s the spring rate on the coils?

Sure. Later today. On the way to 4x4 offroad sale...Hoping to meet some people and possibly get a deal or two...
Then we're heading to look at possible camper trailers that could go with us on journeys...

Okay, got it!
From front hub center vertical to wheel well opening it is right at 22 and 5/8"
From rear hub center vertical to wheel well opening it is right at 22 and 1/2"
Hope this helps...

Okay! So! We want to 4x4 offroad and camp with convenience. We bought a 2021 Jayco Jay Feather Micro. 16.6 ft living area. Already has 16 inch offroad load range E tires and brush guards all around... I lowered tongue onto GX after hitch install. With Eibach springs she sank... I ordered Ironman springs. (440-880 additional lbs weight) and she sits just about perfect. I figured the ride would be rough without trailer but it isn't bad to me. I also have a 1 ton truck so I know *rough*
The Ironman springs also added 2 inches of lift in the rear (unladen) which is a plus. I bought an adjustable panhard bar and installed, just in case the extra lift moved the axle. I added 4runner extended sway bar links as well with polyurethane energy suspension bushings. I'll take it for alignment check Monday. All I removed to shut off height control in dash was 1 fuse from inside fuse panel. I think it was marked *Tems*
I finished up with a Tekonsha trailer brake controller that plugged into factory harness under dash.

Looking good. Can you elaborate on where you the brake controller harness is located? I will need to install one of those. What’s the rear height measurement on the new springs?

The connector is electrical taped up under dash and above the steering column. I had to get on the floor outside the vehicle to reach up and untape it. (you must remove plastic panel) You can feel the connector without seeing it (nothing connected to it) but I couldn't untape it without seeing it. Etrailer sells plug and play harness for $11. that connects Tekonsha controller.
From center of wheel cap to fender is now 25 1/4 inches with Ironman 3 inch lift springs.

With the Eibach springs I had 7 1/8 inch clearance from tire to fender. With Ironman I have slightly over 9 inches. Looks pretty good to me. My concern was trailer and GX sitting level...
BTW; My fresh water tank in trailer is close to empty so if I carry our water the trailer should still sit just about perfect. Our 2018 Tundra squatted more than I would have expected so I went to scales and weighed trailer with 55 gallons of fresh water on board, Tongue disconnected from trailer was 660 lbs. Trailer axle was 4220 lbs. I'm guessing without water the tongue will be around 500 lbs on GX470 and high 30's on trailer axle...

I put bc to right lower knee area dash. Also put illegal 10 channel radio with cb added, peaked/tuned on center console left next to my thigh...Springs raised her 9 inches above air system if I recall correctly.. In any case, she rides perfect with or without trailer. (Lower with trailer)
I put TRD pro rims and Toyo open country at3 tires. Tires come with a micro layer of tread on top of main tread, micro layer (maybe .25 of 1 mm) still present after 3000 miles. I did have my alignment guy ZERO all positions on machine. Not within spec...ZERO!
