Time to get the timing belt done. Can anyone advise me on a local facility that may be less expensive (but equally skilled) than the dealer?

Charles Barker Toyota faxed me a price of $657 for parts/labor on TB & WP.

First Team Toyota in Chesapeake has always been good to us.....I'm not sure how much cheaper (if any) that they will be vs. CB though.

Yeah, under $700 is a great deal. The water bump and belt alone are $250.

Wow. I'm located in Frederick, MD. The Frederick Toyota quoted me $1211 for water pump, timing belt and labor.

I'm not going with them. I'll do the work myself soon. But if I live nearby you, I would take my truck to the shop.
