Series 80 body as a trailer

Living in Tanzania now, have I started preparing for a trailer build, using an idea posted on this forum earlier. I acquired the Series 80 parts a
Ready, but the more I look at them, the more concerned I am. Two key questions:
1. Is the rear axle not too far back? Will the weight not be to much on the hitch?
2. How can I modify the original axle to a braked axle?

Im sure many of you have copleted these challenges already...

1) You'll want about 150 lbs of tung weight... depends on where you cut off the front, and how long the young is.
2) For a manual parking brake I'd keep the stock E-brake... Electric, and you'd have to do some custo work with trailer components.
