Well, I guess I'll come out of hiding for this event. I plan on packing up my little girl and Dad for a full day on Saturday. Its been too long! Joe, hopefully my registration worked.

quick question...

What do you guys think id be better off in (we all know i dont have a cruiser At the moment) But i have options.
88 Bronco II (Short wheel base, s***ty clearance.. but dont care about body damage.. at all)
04 Heep Grand cherokee (took it to URE before, did well)
05 2500HD (Better clearance, but looong wheel base)

Im in a pickle....

There is a link to campsite info in post #91. Depending on when you are coming out you could also meet up with someone from the Triangle and caravan.

Thats what i was thinking.. But the driveshaft in the bronco is iffy... we'll see.

More info to come later, but I've divided the group into two groups with trail leaders. I'll let everyone know what the groups are later.

Meet at the Outpost at 9am, ready to roll out at 10am. If you've been to an ONSC ride, you know this can be a daunting task. So if you need to buy a pass, gas, food, etc. GET THERE EARLIER THAN 9!! In that hour we need to do an intro, safety check, and tentative schedule.


Time and place for lunch to be determined. (Either camground or Parking lot)

Dinner is pot luck, bring what you like making.

Im having the same feeling about my Bronco.. lol

Ditto for me. My 40 is finally running after a few months of being down. It should be working fine but havent had a chance to run it to make sure it is all good to go. I am more worried about myself at this point considering I still cant fully walk but I am going to chance the trip this weekend anyway.

So who is showing up friday? I am thinking of getting there friday. I might have the wife and kids come out on Saturday for the day.
