Sensor for carb cooling fan in a 87 fj60 (1 Viewer)

Does any body have a carb cooling fan sensor ( Thermister ) they want to get rid of? I have been working on getting this system running and have tested the fan figured out where the wire connects test the wireing and found out the sensor doesn't work.

I do not have one but ive been working on mine too. I actually took it off and tested the connection when it was cool and then tested the connection as i heated it up with a torch (As it heats more electricity can pass through the sensor). It works just fine when you get it nice and hot. My fan used to not come on but then i fixed it just by moving the sensor closer to the engine.
