Just posting results for recoloring the yellowed plastic around the base of the sunroof controls, since I didn't find much on 'mud. Some of the plastic -- seems to be the softer stuff -- in my interior has yellowed. SEM 15183 isn't a perfect match for the Toyota bluish gray, but it's a huge improvement. Keep in mind that the white balance in these shots isn't consistent, so just use the outer plate as a reference.

I cleaned the plastic with Dawn and a red scotchbrite pad, then use Bulldog adhesion promoter according to the instructions.
The Color Coat sprays really nicely, it's easy to just dust a few layers on and get great coverage.

The can was around $16 at my local auto paint supplier.

That looks good. I need to do mine, but I'm having trouble removing it and I am afraid I'll break it.

Which part? The external cover pops into place, then the screw holds it tight. Remove the screw, then pry the cover off using the indented bit near the screw. It sticks pretty tenaciously, but mine popped free after a worrying amount of flexing.

Then you remove two more screws, pull the switch panel out, detach the wires (pull up on the outer part near the slot), then remove two more screws that hold the base on.

I was having trouble with the first cover part. I removed the screw, but wasn't comfortable with the amount of prying I was doing with no result. I'll give it another shot. Thanks!

Reviving this thread to show what warm gray looks like against the rest of the ((in my case, dusty) interior. Not a perfect match, but much better that the faded yellow (also pictured). This SEM product is great stuff. Think I might tackle the center console next.
