Well, the third kid comes along and all of a sudden we have to have a minivan. So, I've got to put aside large toys until the kids are gone, or they get suddenly cheaper to raise.

I'm asking $6800. Not sure that'll cover the cost of the work I put into it, but hey, bad economy and all :frown:

Seems like a great deal. Wish mine was that clean and I paid more for mine. Throw it on eBay for $10k and you'll prolly get $8k!
 
Why do you "NEED" a mini-van?

Explain to the wife that the new cars are made of tin foil and the older ones like the '55 are made of real steel. If she doesn't believe it you can always demonstrate by taking a hit on the mini-van!!

We raised 4 kids and our daily driver/family "car" was the BJ60. The youngest two came home from the hospital in it and then had driving lessons in it. A mini van is NOT necessary.

Apparently we need a vehicle that can to 70mph while getting above 14 MPG :steer:

Where are you at and what are the rust conditions or any work that needs to be done?

Diesel 5 speed swap, cheaper than a new mini-van and classier too!!

WAY classier... but even when it's all said and done, a minivan holds more of those bulky plastic car seats and is more comfortable on long trips.

Believe me, I've thought about every possibility :frown:

Hmmmm....have you thought of selling the kids for lab experiments :eek: (trust me..it's more cost effective to do it now...2 in college) :eek: :eek: Ditch the wife :rolleyes: and pick up a mistress, just don't let her move in :grinpimp: And do the diesel 5 sp swap...see problem solved :grinpimp:

Just how many plastic car seat thingies does a man need ? Good luck...tis a beautiful piggie :cheers:
