Selling my personal 100 series (bittersweet) (3 Viewers)

First, let me begin with a disclaimer. I'm sure this is not the way that most people do this and I'm not trying to go around the rules of this forum. That said, I thought this would be the best way to get the word out. I respect the sanctity of "mud", but I also understand that in the spirit of how rigs are generally traded on the site, this one is a little atypical.

As I have stated in other posts on this site, after 12 years, I have finally closed my Land Cruiser business. It's a bittersweet thing but I'm going to go do something that allows me to spend more time with my family. I'm also getting tired of people asking me, "so, is this your full-time job?"

This isn't a 100 that is a "sick build out", it doesn't have 60k miles on it and it hasn't been customized with a bunch of overlanding gear. It's just an amazingly preserved, totally stock Land Cruiser. With the exception of the 33s, it looks and feels exactly as it did the day it rolled off the showroom floor.

Every once in a while, I come across a Land Cruiser so special that I just don't think I'll ever find another one like it. When that happens, I will put everything I have into it, replacing parts that don't even need it and going to outrageous lengths to preserve it because it's simply the best one I may ever have. Then, after years of getting it as perfect as possible, I get so enamored with it that I don't even want to drive it in the rain. This, my friends, is the definition of mental illness. It's not a good thing, it's not what a Land Cruiser was designed for and it's a clear indication that it's time for me to sell this car.

Rather than post this car in the classifieds on here and have people say, "are you smoking crack?", "Hunter Biden has entered the chatroom" or "you are crazy AF", I'm just going to put the links to craigslist and cars.com. It might not be for you, but it might be just what someone you know is looking for. see below for the links:

You're welcome to call or text me anytime that's not too early or too late. Those are my peak crack smoking hours.

Thanks, jnauck

If I were in the market for high dollar 100 series, this is the exact kind of truck I’d want. Someone who used it and obsessed over it. Who cares about a 50k mile rig that hasn’t been touched in a decade?

You did a beautiful job with this truck. Well done.

These are such good looking vehicles. This era toyota product is excellent. The interior design reminds me so much of my 3rd gen 4runner.

Thank you for saying that and I totally agree. One of the worst 100s I ever got was a Black 2007 with 85k years ago. It looked like it had been ridden hard and put up wet!

I want this truck so badly! What an absolute beauty! This really makes me want to stretch my budget :hmm:
Well I may be a little biased here, but I think it's totally worth it! There's not going to be another one like this one again. I'm happy to speak with you if you'd like. 817.819.3210 Jonathan

I can see that! From your description and images, the car seems to be in superb condition and STOCK - which I value. Unfortunately, I am currently looking for something in the $20k range, but that may very well change in the near future! GLWS and I will let you know if my situation changes.
