Seiken Booster legit?

I just received a brake booster for my '94 from CruiserYard. Fast shipping!

The sticker on it says Bosch Corp...

Can anyone verify that this is a geniune Seiken?

From the below threads, it seems like it is legit.

Like some others I read expected it to say Seiken.

I wouldnt be concerned with anything made by Bosch, ive been using their brake pads for many years and find them to be perfectly fine. Their brake rotors are extremely good as well

Also, props to CruiserYard, not only for phenomenally fast shipping across the country, but also for providing both gaskets in the package (my originals were toast).

(yes, the PO had dogs, and their hair is in every crack, crevice and spot with grease on it)

Don't look at the price for the same exact part from the dealer then. It'll give you heartburn. There are cheap and rebuilt units available, if money is short.

It’s been discussed before but it’s a licensing issue as to why the Bosch label is on there. I have no details on the contract though.

Ha, you would have really disliked it 6 months ago! Fortunately, prices came back down to a more reasonable level.
