I see you’ve been here since ‘16, but can’t seem to find any threads about the work you’ve done. I apologize if I came off sounding insulting about what you’ve done. We see CL ads in here all the time and have no way of knowing if the sellers are members on Mud or not. Usually Mud members will post their rigs here in the Classifieds just to give the first opportunity to known enthusiasts.
However, I still stand by my opinion that you can’t get halfway into a project and then try to sell it for what you have into it up to that point. Nobody has any idea the thoroughness of what has been done. It’s one of the reasons doing a build thread on this site is beneficial - it’s documentation everyone can see.
For me the dash doesn’t work towards my appeal if I’m looking to buy. That’s your vision. Most enthusiasts aren’t going to share that vision, which is why I mention that if an owner does something to that effect, they should plan to keep it, especially if it’s not easily reversible. The actual craftsmanship of the dash looks good and isn’t the problem. It’s what myself and many others are expecting to see, but don’t.
With that, I’m glad to hear you’ve decided to keep it. And I’m also glad to see you’ve taken the shots and criticisms fairly well.
