Hi All,

First post for me with a question. I'm annoyed by the seat belt chime and tried the FJ cruiser procedure, it didn't work. It worked on the FJ and on the Avalon.

If any body knows how to disable it I will be so thankful. I have a 2008 Land Cruiser.

Thanks in advance and waiting for answers.

I would look at the fuse panel under the drivers dash. I am not sure though.

Thanks for replying. I will look in to that but I was hoping to find something like the Fj's procedure. oh well.

Ask the dealer as some states do not require a seat belt while driving and they can go in with the tech 2 and turn it off. simple as that.

I went to the dealer yesterday and asked to turn off the chime. He started talking about safety stuff and refused to do it.
I still think that there is a way around that sound by doing some trick around the dash.

That's funny he declined.......But not really in your eyes

I have done it several times for people who have thier dogs with them, the dog sets off the sensor to chime.....
