Just did timing belt, cam seals, crank seal, water pump, rocker cover seals on LC200 series petrol UZ-2FE 4.7L V8.
Discovered that the timing belt cover around the crank pulley is missing a screw and also missing the little cylindrical metal insert / spacer that is embedded in the plastic cover (rightmost bolt location in the pic below). Replacing the screw is easy enough, but there are no part details for the little metal inserts. Seems overkill to get a whole new plastic cover. A tightening the screw down on plastic won't hold.
I was wondering if folks had any suggestions on what to use to replace the metal insert? Not sure if they are aluminum or steel. And what dimensions they are (it's all reassembled now so tricky to measure)?
Thanks!
