Title says it all. I am looking for pictures and plans for a ladder off of roof top rack. I did see an old post by Eshani(sp?) off of the side, but actual pictures of a ladder or plans would be appreciated.

That is great. I would like to have something that either folds up or swings up and stores on the rack so I don't have to strap it down. But that looks like a good base.

Keep them coming.

That is another option. DId you find those searching and surfing or are they pitures of your rigs? I Would like to see how they are mounted at the bottom a little bit better. The ih8mud logo is blocking the view.

My issue is that my rack will not always be on. I park in my garage and it almost doesn't fit as it is without a rack so a ladder would be better if it was only used with the rack. I suppose that might be a bit more logical than putting it on my tire carrier.

No pics but an idea.If you have a reciever in your bumper make a stinger rack, and have a spot to snap it in your roof rack?

hey slick are you or have you alredy lowered you rack closer to your roof?I was thinking of making one for my confer rack...saw one in the classifieds area made i think for a 80 series...let me know maybe we can come up with somthing together?

hudyhueee!!!!!!

I haven't done anything yet James. I want lower my front end first by removing a leaf spring. Give me a call and we can talk.

Found another photo on my personal album..

The dirst one looks good. I am thinking I will need to eather have the ladder flip up and over to lay flat on the rack with two big hindges on top and then bumpers and some type of locking in place clamps so it is stable. The other option is to have another set of hindges in the middle so it would be a bit more compact sitting on top..

is that an offer to sell or a statement? ;p
