I cant seem to get the search function to work on my iphone with the new app format. No matter what i search for it only comes up with a twin stick topic from 2003. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Search on the App does not work...waiting on the developer to determine the issue (and sadly, they seem to be in no hurry)

And you can't search for "threads started by user" anymore. Makes it tough to find some vendor threads.... Just sayin'

sure you can...select a members Profile Page, select the "Postings" tab and at the bottom, select "Find all Threads by..."

Ah, got it! I need a "New IH8MUD for Dummies" guide.

Thanks, Woody!

There is a "better" system for "threads started by..." coming in future XF releases...

Search using a mobile browser works perfectly...the new software responds VERY well to desktop, tablet, or phone browser use.

Search on the iPad from Safari doesn't work for me. Still only returns that one thread.

Then you are using the app, NOT Safari. Uninstall the App entirely. Then use the Safari Browser, it works fine, logging into https://forum.ih8mud.com I JUST tested a search on my iPad and returned 200 results, exactly as expected.

I Think I figured it out. Searching and using "Display results as threads" is what was messing me up. That doesn't work for me. Searching w/o that checked works.

NEW Beta version of search pending in a week or so...rumor says there are significant improvements :)

I have this problem on OSX 10.9.2 with Chrome and Safari. It's a great thread, but not the one I'm looking for... ever...
