Sealant between rear end plate and block/bellhousing (1 Viewer)

Hi all.

I'm putting things back together and am unsure about whether I need to use a sealant between the rear end plate and the block and/or bell housing. I don't recall there being anything there when I pulled it apart, but things were a bit rough there when I did remove the trans.

This is for a 1PZ manual, but I imagine a 1HZ is pretty similar.
