Hi there.

Last year I had the screeching noise from the brake master accumulator. Also the ABS ringing inside the car.

I had the brake booster 47070-60010 replaced with a new genuine one. Also the brake master cylinder rebuild kit 04493-60330 fitted. Brake bleeding without Techstream. Followed this procedure:

Drove about 5.000 miles now without a problem.

Last week I had to remove my AHC for OME. I asked the mechanic also to bleed the brakes with Techstream again.

1.000 miles later I have the screeching noise AGAIN when the car is cold in the morning. Any suggestions?

I am on holiday in Slovakia / Hungary right now. Don‘t know anyone here…

Ideas welcome!

Visited Toyota in Nagykanizsa today. I have DTC C1256 now. They do not know what to do. Maybe change the whole unit. Tomorrow they will try a brake flush with DOT3.

DOT3 flush did not help.

Do you know how much voltage should be at the brake booster?

Just to let you know: If you ever got a „low pressure“ DTC check for leaking brake fluid.

I did install new Brembo calipers all around. Half a year later the front brake caliper lost fluid. Not much. No dripping. It was broken in the middle where the welding is. Over a long period it lost fluid and the car was making the ABS low pressure noice.

New caliper = all fine again!

You have to change out the whole abs unit since the pressure switch is flaking out. You temporary stop the issue by pumping the brake pedal a few times after you shutoff the car and pull the key. That will reduce the pressure in the system and switch the switch to the open position when it gets cold
