With all the talk about trails for the FJ cruiser and the ones I have found via the internet the past couple of days, I am itching to do some checking out of these trail possibilities. So this weekend I was thinking of doing a run up through NE georgia to check out the jeep trails around pine mountain.......... then heading up to Cullowhee to check out the caney fork trails ([UCPRIVATE[)and camp there sat. night and then swing by Hurricane creek one the way home (http://www.tailofthedragon.com/other_dual_hurricane.html) this trip would cover a lot of ground and would be focused on scouting and as a result be fast paced.......but it also looks to be a lot of fun. If I can scrounge up enough to cover gas and can trick one or two of you fellow cruiser heads into going with me I plan on doing this run should be about 300 miles round trip :D.........I def. have to fix the alternator by then though

If no one can commit the whole weekend I would still love to have someone join me for scouting Sat. maybe just in NE georgia.

So if anyone is up for a last minute scouting trip let me know

We just missed a golden opportunity. I noticed that the Rover club did Caney Fork just this very weekend! I may be able to sneak up there this weekend. We'll see as I get into the workweek a little bit.

Responded in the FJ thread but I'm down this weekend for some expedition stuff.

Let me know when and where you're looking at - your plan sounds good - camping up near Caney Fork on Sat. sounds fun.

Alan I hope he shows up this time.

If he doesn't he's history. After three months my patience is thin. Thanks for the mention guys.

If he doesnt keep me in mind my offer of $25 monthly payments for the next 53 yrs is still on the table.

JP, i'm still not positive if i'll be able to go this weekend, i'll also have to scrounge up a bunch of money if we're gonna drive 300 miles. I'll get back to you a little later this week on it.
