My friend's mom owns Malee's Thai Bistro. Yashica talked to them today,
and we aren't enough to reserve a whole room :-\ but are welcome to get
a few tables together. They have outdoor seating, but not very close to
the parking lot. And it tends to be loud there, inside or out. :(
She also suggested "The British Open". I think she said it's at Papago Plaza.
But I definaqtely like the idea of outdoor seating in view of our rigs. :)
(Well, mainly your rigs, as I see mine every day. :D )

BMT: Don't worry about showing up in a Taurus. friend of mine might show
up in a slammed 2WD Hilux. He's a Toyota guy, and used to have a 4WD on
Guam. Or maybe his dad did. I can never remember. Anyways. If Harold's
fits the bill, and no one has a problem with it, I can be there at 6-ish on
Wed.

easy there phil :flipoff2:

yup thats harolds, funny cause its the first place i thought of when this thread started. pretty good westerny place. its inundated with bikers on w/e's but pretty tame weekdays.

HJ60 i'll be there about 6 also so you wont be bored.

I'm in. Damn, Cave Creek. OK, drive from Brown and Gilbert in Mesa to 59th Ave and Bell, then to Cave Creek, then back home. About 100 to 120 miles, 12 miles to the gallon, approx, 12 gallons of gas at $2.25 a gallon...conversation about cruisers, priceless.

12 miles/gallon?!?!?! I'm getting 1.2.
Still running rich. Broken accelerator pump linkage. I hate carburetors
sometimes. Can't wait to get a 12H-T.
Anyways, I'll be there between 6 and 7, assuming no problems. I'll be wearing
my grey Cruise Moab '03 shirt for ease of recognition. :D

Yea I bought my cruiser to drive but I don't want to waste miles on pavement :flipoff2:

I'll try and be there as close to six as possible, as the ``happy hour'' there ends at 6pm. The 80's my wife's DD and she has ``torque tires'' on her right now, so it's quite embarrassing, but I'll try and stop by home and pick her up.

Otherwise I'm present in the beater Ford commuter car.

So Fawkers... how'd it go?

Phil, Rhino and I were there until about 11:30. 3fj40 and hj60 left a little before that. Went well. Where were you? We even told the waiteress that you were showing up. She was exited.

Thanks everyone for coming up! I had a great time, next time I'll try and stay a little longer. 11:30! Impressive!

Looking forward to all the things like the sticker that came out of that meeting.

Also looking forward to doing some trails soon.

BMAN Now that everything’s coming out the REAL reason she was excited was that we sold her your 40 for $600 and dinner. Unfortunately you did not show and we had to pay for dinner. :flipoff2:

Phil

LOL,, had a good time last nite, nice to put faces to names.
BTW ya'll have me thinking again of an 80 instead of a taco dblcab.

Sorry I din't scan the sticker last night. I was beat when I got home.
I think it'll get its own topic in a few minutes. :)

I had a blast. Nice to be around fellow Cruiserheads.
I recommend a monthly pub night. Try and spread it around so more remote listers
can join us. Or get enough remote listers that they can have their own. :D
