Great car and that is a good price. The body style did not change until 82. Wagons are really rare. We had an 88 Wagon when I was growing up. 4cylinder 5 speed. 116hp 16V 2.0 liter. It was not a slug. I had many tickets in that car. Once I was clocked at 92mph over the speed limit. But the autos were a bit slower. Ours got about 33mpg average. Could get up to 38 with the right driver. I think if you bought it you'd be using it to run around a lot more than you think.

The auto trans would probably keep me from buying it. Even when they seem OK you can't trust 'em.

A camry with 105K and a manual trans? I'd swipe it from under you if the price was only $1500. Specially a wagon. Wagons are always useful - unbelievable how much stuff can be loaded in and on top of wagons. Whole pickup loads, almost.
