Hello All....just wanted to let everyone who surfs this forum that Josh (VanGo) and myself have about 10 5-gal Scepter cans left and they are selling for $90 shipped anywhere in the CONUS. More info can be found in the above links. Its a good deal conidering how much they sell for elsewhere.
 
We have 4 used Scepter cans left! Not sure when we will come across this deal again. Let me know if you are interested!
 
Hi Chris,

Well we may be getting another shipment of Scepters at some point. I will re-post if and when that occurs.

As for the front axle she is in need of a rebuild this spring. I will keep you posted.

I need to find a location before I set anything up. I have all of the parts and will pick up all of the consumables at some point. I may also need new birfs or I may be able to flip them. Ony one way to find out....

Okay thats cool on the cans... what do you want for 2 of the used ones? i am saving my penny's to buy a 6.2 diesel for the 60.. going to get this weekend i hope..:D

I just have had some free time and didn't know if you were ready to do your front end anytime soon or if you wanted to wait till it warms up a little...

As far as your birfs go, are they making noise or what? Remember what mine sounded like at that cruise in ? turns out they were just real dry, the long side had almost no grease at all in it, but no broken stuff or pieces of metal in the bell...

The cans from this batch were going 2 for $90 shipped anywhere in the CONUS....my buddy actually has them at his place a little farther west.

I might have the first weekend in Feb. free...not sure yet.

Regarding the birfs, they make noise in different situations. I know they have plenty of grease in them. I check them every or every-other oil change. I am also fairly certain that they are original and have about 240K on them. If I can find a set for the right price I may pick a set up to freshen things up. But maybe all they need is flip from side to side.

Looking forward to hearing more about the diesel swap!

I'll get it in my build thread when everything is figured out. I been having cooling issues and i think my head gasket might have popped. i haven't investagated it to far, but i been losing water somewhere. But no sign of it in the oil yet and as long as it stays cold i'll just deal with it.
