I don't know that it's on SG end, I think tranny temp is one of those that Toyota doesn't send through the OBD.

Back when I purchased my scanguage they told me they were close :rolleyes:to coming up with a code.

IIRC the trans temp is a variable output to the ECU? -no?

Trunk monkey is in the true...
SG display what's available...
Trans temp is not... may be it is, but we don't know wich data is the one

Well, I have discovered a stupid Scangauge problem with the 100. With the location of the OBD port right above your foot, it's easy for the Scanguage cable to get bumped. If the truck is off and you connect the cable, the Scangauge will power on and attempt to connect to the ECU, seeking information. It will do this continuously, no time out. Well, it's enough power to kill your battery in a few hours. It's happened twice now, so I'm going to be zip tying the thing securely tonight.

I am having battery drain issues trying to solve. I have an ultraguage and started tracking down what was pulling juice with key off. I pulled the OBD fuse and amps dropped down where they should be. I noticed that when I used key fob to lock the LC the Ultragauge turned on and started initializing, and since LC was off nothing was coming from the ECU like you mentioned. I hope this is what is draining battery. Never had this problem on previous vehicle it was always attached to.

Solved! A few months ago... I started unhooking fuses in the panel inside while friend was watching meter I had hooked up at the battery. I am trying to remember which fuse I pulled, but when I pulled it I found the leak... I plugged it back in and never had a drained battery issue again.
