One of our company Scions hasn't been driven in several months. Repalced the battery. Need to reg it. but naturally the ECU is not ready. Drove around a little today, dont really want a ticket so trying to run it around stealth like (after all this is the snow camo'd one LOL).

Long story short, rather than wasting time running to DEQ each time does someone have a scantool to see if the ECU is ready yet??

No time crunch, just need to get it done sooner than later.

mine will read the readiness tests. is the MIL on?

hit me up i am free today.

Cool. Can't swing by today, But maybe tomorrow?

No MIL light. Just been sitting for few months and changed out the battery. Went by DEQ, and as I thought they said the ECU was in a not ready state.

So...

How much day to day driving does it take for the ECU to "get ready" ? I'm glad my wife doesn't have an ECU! :p

Stop go around town, couple miles on the freeway for it to re-learn. ;p

Hey Gnob - No need, thank you!

cool.

typically it only takes a couple heat cycles and a few miles of steady hwy to clear the tests.

It's taken care of. Thanks guys :)
