I have a1996 LX450 I Tried to install the Scan Gauge today and nothing? I know the OBD port works as my code reader can see data and engine functions. Anybody have similar issues. I am going to return it and maybe order another one maybe i got a lemon!? Or i was thinking of ordering the OB-link and use my phone. I just want to monitor Water temp, correct my Speedo and get Trans Temp.
Comments Gents?!

i did and used both ports on the Scanner...Nothing. I'm sending back to Amazon. Maybe order another one!

Yes, try another one, mine have both worked flawlessly for years. But you won't have 'trans temp' on the 80 series via Scangauge.

100 series...yes.

Some ScanGuages have issues. Had an issue after battery discharge and re-charge (not sure if it's related).

I've sent my back for a free replacement. Easy process.

Thanks that is what I thought on the Trans temp. I'm more interested in an accurate water temperature.
^^^^

It will certainly do that (and more).

As concerns 'trans temp'...unless you regularly tow heavy loads over steep grades or spend a lot of time in the sand dunes....you really needn't worry about trans temps. The A343F tends to run cool...and although I have a means to monitor my trans temp, knowing what I know now....I would not do it again or recommend it to most folks. It's a very boring gauge (digital trans temp), owing to the nature of the transmission (just doesn't get hot under most conditions).
