Agreed...but Vinod is a douche.
Vinod is the real thing. But the certified check (your price plus $2000 for your trouble) you will get via Express Mail will not be in his name, it will be on his uncle's wife's name because she is traveling to the US at the moment. His uncle is the minister of transportation in Delhi.

Seriously, strip the headers off the emails and you will see where they are coming from, could be hilarious when you ask them how is the traffic outside their window at whatever location they really are from. Or remind them it is an FBI investigative crime to use USPS for scam.

I have a legit guy this AM, so this may not be "that fun" - not that it ever was :)

I have a feeling Vinod is real and he will want to meet in NE Raleigh and then spend an hour reviewing only to offer me 9K and then walk away "mad" when I don't sell it to him.

You know this thread is just inviting me make fake email account and shoot you messages :grinpimp:

Unless you are Gary, I took the ad down. I have had to offers as of this AM. Both want a mechanic to review the vehicle, so hopefully one of them takes it Monday AM or Monday PM :)

Gary:

Has it ever been smoked in or had pets in it?
Has the timing belt been changed ?
Garaged?

Please send copy of Carfax.

Thanks.
Gary

Gary is real but will only offer you $7500.

Gari is real. But his real name is Gregori, from Ukraine. He has a small car dealership backed by the Russian mafia, and only deals in cash (or ash, if you piss them off) as it is a money laundering front. He will pay full price, and sell it for less quickly to clean the money originated from drugs and hookers. Don't let his silk shirt and 32 gold chains fool you. He will come with a "mechanique to look car".

What I get all the time are the guys that want to bargain on the price before they even lay an eye on the vehicle. I generally start going up in price when someone does that. Had one guy a couple years back that only realized I was raising the price after three raises on three separate E-mails.

Serious= a person that comes to look and has cash in their pocket to back their offer. If they have no cash, what's the point?
