Hi!

My name is Chris and I moved to GJ with my better half from Casper WY. I work at Honnen Equipment as a parts coordinator. I have already familiarized myself with Hugh and Safari LTD. He has been super helpful in assisting me with the cooling system on my 97 LC. I am not new to Toyota but am excited to learn and work on my LC.

I look forward to meeting you guys!

Welcome to GJ, come meet us at our next meeting which are held on the first Wed. of the month @7pm. Next one will be held out in the desert on 27 1/4 rd. close to the airport.

Doug.

Hello,
My name is Anthony and I moved to GJ in August of '09. I had been living in California for the past 30+ years. I bought my 2007 FJC June of last year. Finally got a more permenant job today and figured I'd look more closely at your club, since it looks like I'll be staying here for a while.

I love my FJC, its a way back to camping/four wheeling that I did more often in my youth, but my FJ has to be a daily driver for now. I look forward to meeting the group.

My FJC is a 2007 4x4 with locking rear diff, manual, and 285's.

Anthony, Welcome! we have a meeting tomorrow night if you can make it. Send me a PM with your email address and I'll add you to the list if you are not already. We have quite a few members with FJCs. From nearly stock to built to the hilt. You could get some great ideas of what works/doesn't from the owners who are always happy to talk about their rigs. Your truck will do 90% of the runs that we participate in as it sits. One of our members (RyanR) has a nearly stock TT with the exceptions of BFG-Ats and i am amazed at how well it does. He has taken it through the San Rafael Swell, Kokopelli Trail, Schofield pass and more.

Bring that truck out! Welcome! :flipoff2:

Hi everyone. This is Dan. Trying out a new moniker, LogHillCruzer. Am rdplemons on the FJ Cruiser forum. I met Jonathon at the Summit and had previously met Ace and Doug. I have a place in Ridgway where I spend as much time as possible and a place in TX where I hang out only when I must. My Ridgway place is more specifically on the mesa in Log Hill Village thus the LogHillCruzer moniker. Anyway I hope to become a member of the club soon and do some runs with you guys when I can make it. But unfortunately in TX right now. Hope to maybe make it back up in September some time.

Hi guys, My name is Garrett and Im finnally getting around to posting up here. I'm originally from Steamboat Springs but have been out of the area for awhile doing the Navy thing. I finally convinced my wife to move back here this spring. I have a 78 FJ40(or atleast most of one) that Im in the process of rebuilding to hopefully be ready for cruise moab in the spring. Hopefully in the meantime you guys can tolerate me showing up to a meeting or two in a Nissan.

Welcome Garrett! No worries on showing up with the Nissan! We should have plenty of straps and winches to take care of ya. Really though, you are more than welcome to bring whatever you may be driving at the moment. Come on down to a meeting and join us for a trail run prior to feeling any obligation to join.

Our bylaws etc can be found here. We look forward to meeting you.

Hello! My name is Casey and I have heard ace talk about this place several times over on Fjc forums. Are there many members in eagle/ glenwood area? How often you guys do runs east of Utah?

Hi Casey and Welcome! Several of our most active members live in Glenwood, Carbondale and Eagle! Our trips typically follow the seasons. Fall through Spring is the best time to visit Utah while Summer is the time to get into the high country. We typically do several trips each year up valley in locations like Camp Hale and the Flat Tops. We are always open to trip suggestions as well. We look forward to meeting up with you.

Thanks John- is anything coming up? I am running chinaman gulch this Saturday with some Fjc front range people but would like to meet some people more in tune with the older cruisers to share the wealth of information. As well of course to wheel with on the western slope!

If you meant older cruiser drivers you are looking in the right place. There are few old cruiser drivers as well as a few old cruisers. ;)

Ace
