Thanks! What time do these things kick off??

Anyone be running greens? I'm still a bit gun shy after blowing my diffs at YTs Fall Gathering... :princess:

I won't make this one (I know, surprise, surprise). The 20th is our first race of the season. Six hours of adventure racing goodness in Delaware. Prep day is Saturday.

Brett

I wrote this date on the calendar, Im in, looking forward to it.

Jeff,

Will your mini be ready for this trip? I need to get the 40 out before GSMTR and the weather may be warm enough for an old man to camp.

I am going to do everything possible to have it ready... Dave is sending me back my adapter so I can reinstall the driveline, I ordered a long travel DS for the front, I am picking up the 4.3 in a week and plant to install it.... another day of paint and it will be one color.... John will hopefully finish the tubework and it will be ready to rock.... I hope : ) Stay tuned....

True, true. I'm trying to convince my buddy in his stock 100 to come along too.

Fawkin greens Macniell???? If you go with a blue group you will be fine... gotta get back on the horse ya know : )

Not quite. He's a converted Rover guy...

He's been to Paragon (RIP) in his 100. Shmukster led us on a run last year before a GCLC meeting.

We're the :princess: :princess: on the road.

Fresh Meat Mmmmmmm.

Shmukster pulling cable!!!!

I can't place that scene and don't remember pulling cable in such an area- unless it was on one of those areas at Paragon along the main road down near the competition area. Anyone remember? I assume this is at Paragon because of the red antenna flags............Gary S

It was at Paragon (along the road). It was my first wheeling trip with the FJC. Remember the black FJ Cruiser (behind you in the above photo) that thought he had to floor it to get up the hill? The only reason you had to pull cable was because of a stump that got pulled up under your axle.

Nice. I don't think I have ever seen a 100 in the woods personally. And to think I was  when I put my 80 into a tree I couldn't imagine with something that nice.
So did you talk him into going yet?

IIRC, after a mild day of leading us, you wanted to hit the rock gardens.

The guy in the Black FJC was the "Yahoo" who was gunning and rooster tailing all day.

He tried to join you there.

He made it to rock #2.

Actually IIRC, his buddy was driving.

Coupla pix from that day.

Look forward to wheeling with you again on the 19th...

Bill, was this the time we were camping in Paragon above the check-in trailer? I remember a black fjc parked across from us with the BUS rv. Seemed like a bit of a wild bunch.

Not sure of the event/timing, but there was another black fjc with wide chrome wheels and low profile tires with the group I was in on Upper Whompum that seemed all gungho. However, after running the part that we had to run 'backwards' to get to the part that starts after the 'bowl', to meet back up with the main trail, he was all about getting with an easier group. Not sure if that's the guy that left us and hooked up with y'all.
