Yes, no, and both. Its an ever changing trail due to the river changing. Talked to the keeper of the Martinez Ranch and the "trail" was washed out and said to be impassable over 10 years ago.

Are you still considering the other sway bar that is moved up away from the axle?

I have only driven with the new bar/set up ~5 miles and not had a chance to let my weak mind wander. Having the bar that high would keep it out of harms way but at double plus the cost. Leaving in the middle of next week for Utah and Im really excited get some testing done on the open road. Off road will be another story. With the factory swaybar I had very nice flex with an excellent front to rear balance keeping my truck very flat even during hard articulation not sure how that part will pan out.
Truth be told looking back at pictures my rear bar has been bent for some time just this past trip additional bending required replacement.
