San Diego get together?

Temecula/Murrieta/San Diego/...and beyond people..

Heading out to 'Camp Freedom' on Jan. 21st and 22nd again...anyone interested send PM. Usually meet at "Carley's" in Borrego Springs around 1030-1100 o'clock, then head out. The camp is Hwy 86 to Coombs Rd. (Grave wash) then westbound in the wash about 2 miles. Wheelin', shootin' campin' etc. FYI.....

I few of us in the North county and Temecula/Murrieta area will be in Borrego the weekend of January 26th. Will be doing Pinyon Mountain and then cutting across Ocotillo Wells SVRA to Borrego Springs. Some will be camping out at Palm Canyon campground( we have a group site reserved) and Coyote canyon Sunday morning. PM me if yer interested. This is also the same weekend of the CORVA truckhaven challenge.

I'm in Marina Del Rey and I was looking at heading out for a little off-roadin' on Monday....is that a crazy day for me, driving wise? If it is, I was gonna head up to Hungry Valley instead. let me know!

Get together..

I was thinkin' (with a maker's and diet coke) that the Temecula/Murrieta/San Diego peoples should go to a local watering hole to meet. What does anyone think??? Maybe "Kilarney's" in Temecula or something. Any other ideas to get at least semi-organized.

I'm down, but Temecula is a little too far North for me to be drinking & driving a 35 year old truck...& I live in Leucadia. I am sure most SD people would probably say the same. Location always seems like the problem with these get togethers, everyone is so spread out. Somebody said something a while back about Fiesta Island barbecue? Anyone interested?

I hear ya, what about "Uno's Pizza" in Escondido? It's at 890 West Valley Pkwy. I think. East of I-15. Should be somewhat central.
