1996 Landcruiser with 212k miles. Triple locked.
If you’re looking for a pristine cruiser to drive to your yoga class, you should look elsewhere. If you want to do your yoga way out in the boonies, you might consider this. This is a well-maintained Landcruiser used the way a cruiser was meant to be used. It looks really good but has some light trail damage. No significant rust. This has been in NM and CO its whole life. I believe that I am the third owner and have owned it since 2011. The second owner is on Mud as well. $19,500
Recent work
Birfields rebuilt and bearings just replaced Fall 2024
Front brakes done Fall 2024
New cats and muffler Summer 2024
Mickey Thompson 315/75/R16 April 2025. Five of them (less than 1k miles)
Mods
The bad: driver window is slow in the cold. There are minor oil leaks…not much at all, but if you leave it on a clean driveway for a week, you might see a spot.
Would consider selling without stove/fridge/enclosure for $1k less. Would entertain keeping the roof rack and awning to shave a few $ off the price.
This is a sweet Cruiser that you can drive anywhere tomorrow. I’ll deliver it for expenses.
I’ve been super busy and haven’t been able to give it a thorough clean, but you’ll see it’s pretty clean as it is. I’ve got a 10-day window before leaving for a month, but wanted to put this up so someone else can maybe enjoy some summer trail and camping time. I'll de-sticker and deep clean when I return. $19,500 OBO.

Mods
- Re-geared to 4:56s
- ARB lockers front and rear
- ARB compressor
- OME springs, shocks, and steering stabilizer
- Engine-driven compressor (York) and tank mounted in stock spare location. Air outlets in both bumpers and under hood.
- Slee front bumper
- Slee rear bumper
- Slee sliders
- Dual AGM batteries (can combine them with switch on dash to start if main battery is weak)
- Warn M12000 winch with synthetic line
- Idle speed control knob for keeping rpms up while winching.
- Frontrunner aluminum roof rack
- ARB Awning
- Dorkel
- Platform (can use just back part to seat 4 or front parts to seat 2 or 3. One person can sleep comfortably inside, two in a pinch.) I built it for three of us and a dog, with sleeping in a RTT.
- Adventure Trailers (ATOverland now) combo slide with Engel fridge and Partner stove
- Engine-driven heat exchanger for hot water
- Water tanks (12 gal cold)and 4 gal hot). Sureflow pump. Can take short warm showers with that, or infinite ones (with engine running and pumping from a stream) from the shower outlet under the hood.
