hey folks. looking for some info from the sahara bar install manual and also a specific measurement comparison to the combo bar.

i have a canuck lx470 with headlight washers. they are awesome for winter driving so i intend to install them on an arb bumper.

i have read here that the arb sahara bar install instructions include a reference to how to install the headlight washers on the sahara bar. if anyone has a copy of that part of the instructions and can post it that would be great. the instructions are not available on the arb site. i am looking to establish the optimal drill location.

also, i am actually going to buy an 03 lc100 combo arb bar for which the instructions do not mention washer install. so if anyone has seen the sahara and combo bar side by side, i am interested in whether the flat surface in front of the headlights is the same height for both bards.

in other words, measure twenty times, drill once.
 
No need to drill on my ARB Bull bar... it had holes from the factory :) Put the drill away!
 
My ARB sahara had the holes pre-drilled, and included two plastic plugs to fill said holes for those of us who must endure the pain and ignominy of getting out of the truck and manually cleaning our headlights when the need arises :)

so it is for a hundy owner throwing a covetous gaze at a canuckitani lx, for the hundy owner can comprehend the benefits of features enjoyed by those just above his station that the owner of a minitruck cannot begin to imagine as he goes about his mundane business in a trance induced by the incessant whirring noise of his hvac fan.
 
The ARB Combo does not come with headlight washer provisions. I have thought about adding some to mine. Our Mercedes has them, the only thing it does is blow soapy water all over the front end.

i drive in winter conditions at night a lot. they work like a hot darn in increasing the effectiveness of low beams.

You don't have your houseboy (or girl) do that?

I use mine on the highway all the time. In wet/slushy/snowy/dirty road conditions they make a huge difference. Maybe the difference is irrelevant in America, but in the Roger's Pass and Kicking Horse Pass, these washers are a great feature. You don't want to pull over to the side of the highway to clean headlights in avalanche country, or single lane areas.

I have the Sahara bar, by the way. Sorry for the late reply.
