Well, I did it. Sold the 40 :crybaby: I'm in Omaha NE, and a guy from Grand Junction CO rode the train out today and is driving it back. Wish him luck! Didn't sound like he knew alot about LC's yet, but I gave him the mud web site address so hopefully he will be posting here if he needs help. I also told him to get to know the boys at Proffits in Delta. If anyone sees this guy (Vance) or this 40 in Grand Junction or on this board, be kind, welcome him to the fold and help the noob out! He seems like a great guy, and it is a great 40, but you know how they are, they all need a little attention! :grinpimp:

Beauty!. At least it will end up in holy land!
BTW I have relatives in Omaha. 72nd and blondo if you know where that is. near Creighton Prep School.

Sorry to here, hopefully you will get another one soon. I was trying to sell mine but now I have decided to keep it, I have waited since 2002; I sold my first 40 for a 02 WRX so I will keep this one for awhile.

Sorry it had to go......it is a bad ass rig:beer:Dave

Yep, the 40 should be right at home in western CO. Hopefully it gets to spend some time at Moab.

sold

I know how you feel ---as costs were rising on my build I sold my 99 harley springer it was terrible watching it leave but the guy that bought it was looking specifically for my bike and I know it is being ridden and enjoyed

"dont you love her as she's walking out the door?"

best of luck down the road

Funny, I sold the 40 to buy an 04 Road King! I think that will keep me busy for a couple years, and if I get the offroad bug again I'm just going to buy an old beat up full size blazer, sling some 3/4 ton axles under it and beat the crap out of it! I was always a little nervous with the Cruiser cause it was too clean and worth too much $$$.
