I really appreciate the craft of some of the cruiserheads on mud!
Shipmag creates these well built bypass hoses for trans-tc ... think they work more to relieve pressure in a hot transfer case.
Beautiful.
Even though i drained and topped off both... they both needed another half quart or so. No leaks.

+1. I believe they're also a form of cheap insurance for seal leaks causing fluid to push from one to the other, although I don't recall which direction.

I added one to mine for peace of mind, and it is a nicely made item.
I read all i could find and my take away was just that, some report repeated seal failures.
Some have luck extending the TC breather up high into the engine bay if they remove one way check valve.
Mine was certainly moving oil FROM TC to trans.
It give s the oil a gravity route back to TC , but some have said their bypass hose is oil free upon fluid inspection, so could be acting as pressure release.
Either way, i have peace of mind with some solid kit.

Thanks for the comments. With the trump earrings and the banjo fittings beimg
Made in Germany and shipped from the vendor headquarters in England I expect
to see an increase in prices on the next
Batch I order. The vendor has been good at
Freezing the prices for a while now. I have about 4 ea of the 12.75" and 5 ea of the 17.5". Have no clue when I will place the next order. As I don't have any control of when people buy them.
