except I think I've been liabled.. or slandered... or both. Twice.

'Let me make this perfectly clear. I am not a crook!'

Remember, 1st class is currently arriving.... bulk will take a few days or weeks... be patient if yours has not arrived yet.

Kudos to everyone who submitted content and worked to make this an excellent issue!

I think being libled and slandered both twice cancels the whole thing out.

Weather Related Service Updates
Updated August 31, 2005 - 5 p.m. ET
Suspension of Standard Mail and Periodicals Mail acceptance to storm-stricken areas
Effective immediately, the Postal Service is not accepting any Standard Mail or Periodicals Mail from any source addressed for delivery within the following three-digit ZIP Code ranges: 369, 393, 394, 395, 396, 700, 701 and 704.
This emergency action has been taken as a result of severe facility damage, evacuations and other issues resulting from Hurricane Katrina.
We are now formulating plans to address the handling of Standard and Periodicals Mail already in the mailstream and addressed for delivery to these eight ZIP Code areas.
We will update this information as circumstances warrant.
Express Mail Service suspended in areas damaged by
Hurricane Katrina
Due to the significant network disruption and catastrophic damage caused by Hurricane Katrina, the sale of Express Mail to the following ZIP Codes is suspended:
ZIP Code%#@&%#@&%#@&%#@&%#@&%#@&%#@&%#@& City/State
365-366 Mobile, AL.
369, 393 Meridian, MS.
394 Hattiesburg, MS.
395 Gulfport, MS.
396 McComb, MS.
700-701 New Orleans, LA.
703 Houma, LA.
704 Mandeville, LA.
In addition, Express Mail sold between Aug. 26 and Aug. 29 to these ZIP Codes are ineligible for refunds due to Domestic Mail Classification Schedule section 182.51(h), which allows the Postal Service to deny refunds for Express Mail delayed by an act of God.
The Postal Service will notify customers when the service suspension is lifted.
Hurricane Katrina Update:
Hurricane Katrina knocked out power to more than 1 million people from Louisiana to Florida's Panhandle. Officials said restoring power could take months.

I already knew all that, not in any of those zip codes. Still waiting, think I might have to break down and pony up for 1st class service.

Toyota Trails ships from Colorado.

You might call Rhonda in the administration office and make sure your membership is current. 605-388-TLCA.

Non-first class mail can be slow though. And it's only the first week in September.

Still Waiting II

My question is, I live in Kansas, one state over from Colorado, and if TT ships out of Colorado, why is it my TT never shows up before the 5th or 6th of the month? Is the USPS working their delivery magic? Probably. From a logic standpoint, you would think Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, and Wyoming would get their TT before anyone just because of their proximity to the shipping point. And yes, my membership is paid up until January, and will be renewed long before then.

Not unhappy, just curious, and eager with anticipation for my new issue. TT is the ONLY off-road magazine I read from cover to cover, several times over. Primedia could take a few lessons from the folks putting together TT on producing an off-road magazine, with informative articles and tech.

mine was too...sucky thing is i need something to keep me busy when i work monday (rc car bats will die in a couple hours), so it's off limits til monday :frown:
