The wife said there is rust on the windows.
Knowing that glass can't rust, I was dumbfounded.
After looking at the pass. side windows, there is rust on the glass.
I said she must of drove behind a truck or something.
I knew what it was. It was from the TURD.
When I was grinding on the TURD the hot metal from the grinder must of been hitting the 80. As they were hot, they must of melted the glass enough to bond the metal to the glass.
I took a razor and removed the metal (size of grains of sand) but there is now little spots on the glass.
How can I get the metal out of the glass that I couldn't get out with the razor?
Is there something I can put on the glass to fill the tiny stone chip like holes in the glass?

LOL....WOW...that is Murphy for ya. I would have never thought those sparks could retain that much heat after flying through the air for that long, and still have enough to stick to glass on contact.

Glass experts have told me that if you can "feel" imperfections in the surface like scratches, or in your case teensy craters, there is no way to remove them or polish them out. My "testing" of this information has shown it to be true, at least in my case. If there is still some rust on the glass you could likely remove that with #000 or #0000 steel wool and car wax. DO NOT use it on the paint though :o

Kurt,

If you didn't have bad luck, you wouldn't have any luck at all. :D
