I am going to sell my newly acquired FJ60. This is the first rust free FJ I have owned. I come from Alaska and Eastern SD were rust is the norm. I have always wanted a rust free cruiser. I have the title signed and ready to go. The reason I am selling this FJ is simple, I need the cash. We just purchased a bank owned house and I need money for repairs. I will TRADE for a 4x4 truck plus some cash to me, preferably a Toyota or Nissan.
I am going to ask 4400 dollars for the FJ60. I purchased it from the second owner. It was overheating. I installed a new radiator and all of the hoses. That helped out greatly. It has a new starter, battery and air pump. There is 173,000 miles on the FJ.
I was going to put Alaska tags on it, so I am in the process of de-smogging the engine. I have removed the converter, replaced it with a straight pipe with flanges off of the old cat. This way you can just bolt on a new coverter if you wanted. The carburetor is in need of a rebuild. I have a Jim C. carburetor that goes with the cruiser. It is ready to bolt on, in addition I have the EGR block off plates,
I use the cruiser everyday, 10-30 miles each time. It runs OK, not great. It needs the Jim C. carb. installed. The AC needs charged, the compressor is good. The interior is fair, the dash has one crack under the cover. The tires are almost new Hurcules 31 inch LTs.
It was from CA and has the CA supplimental owners manual. It has the original tool kit and jack. The zip for Yucca Valley, CA is 92284.

Thanks for the bump! I drive down to town almost daily, if you see me say hi. I am going to try to work on switching out the carb. I have from Jim C. this weekend. That way if you get stuck behind the FJ on the grade going up to the Mesa, I will be going 55mph!!

Price Reduced!! 4000 dollars or 3700 dollars and I keep the tires and rims

No offers yet! So price reduced to 4000 dollars, or I will sell it for 3700 dollars and I will keep the tires and rims.

REDUCED once more 3700 dollars

I want to try to get this 60 sold this week so once more, price reduced

I am firm on 3700 dollars, 3500 dollars and I keep the rims and tires.

Again new items
Radiator
Battery
Starter
Air pump
Hoses

I have a Jim C. carb. ready to bolt on. The EGR block off plates are easy to install and the cat. is removed. Remember no rust on the exhaust, so ERG cooler and piping will come off easily. I replaced the cat with a removable pipe that has the cat flanges welded on so you can replace the cat if wanted.

Lots of PM's about drivabililty. It is drivable, but I would switch out the carb., we can do that here. Taking care of vacume lines would do wonders. I was going to plug the air rail and sensors on the T-stat housing. I am running around with water right now, so we need to ad some antifreeze. It is pushing 100 deg. F outside and I buzz into town and back with no problems. The old FJ runs ok, so I think it will make any road trips with a little TLC.

Update

Really hot today so I thought about the AC. I made a jumper wire and checked out the compressor. It clicked on, so we know the compressor is good. I am going to try to charge the system up with a retrofit kit from AutoZone. So it looks like the AC maybe operational by this weekend.

Man, if you weren't so far, I would make a drive out there to take a look at this ride (would take me 3 hours just to get out there)

Long Drive

Yes SD is a long drive. I sometimes fly out of SD for work and it takes at least 3 hours to get there. If you happen to get this way let me know.
