Thanks 55Guy. John Pardi is also leaving packaged up boxes of wag bags for the formal groups at the trail head chalet. Big Jim and Mudrak, one will be there marked Rubithon Thur Mrn, or Mudrak Dbl Lckr, or something like that. Feel free to distribute... and we figure if someone stold them, they would still be going to a good use... eventually.
I know a lot of folks have grand ambitions about Tahoe... and who am I to say. but it still looks pretty snow bound as of Friday. I hope Mudrak's week in the snow is still fresh in his mnd. I am currently scheduled to go in Tahoe with the mog crew on Wed. If we are unsuccessful, we'll loop around to Loon... I suspect even if we hit the trail at 4 PM on Wed, we'd still run into every body at the first deep snow.
I'm tempted to go right to Loon on Wed, if that is the case, we can coordinate to meet.
Extra gas is a good idea Don... even if you don't need it, someone else will.
the trail head and bowl are clear of snow, which means there will be plenty of parking. Like James, I like to park at Ice House.
Roger is still planning for Tuesday Loon, so if anyone gets up there that early, they can tag along with him.
and of course, if anyone has any issues while coming over the Sierra headed home, you are welcome to contact Cindy (directions) and stop/use our home in Auburn.
also, should we not make the springs, the camp plan is spread out along the trail... and not bunch up (like an event). Obviously we'll need to spread the camping load.
