Guess nuff said??? We'll miss you Tim...ever thought of bringing Mr. Coppola along?

Quite the chit chat and answer ?'s , we are running outa time. We'll miss ya Tim.
Who's gonna hold Rogers hand now ?
Don , so you and Shelia will be camping at Ellis or there bouts on Tues night., correct ?
Everyone knows to run their CB on the date as channel, right. ? So for Tues night that;d be Ch. 15. So when we get there and your not we'll call you on CB.
Or leave us a note at Ellis if your movin on. Please.

John,Those plans were a while back...plan now is to leave Loon Tues before noon...no stopping at Ellis to camp.
Sheila is staying home but Courtney will be going. Still shootin to take two rigs but that might change.

Oh stop it! First Tim, now Sheila! That's it, event is cancelled! :) (joking, don't start any rumors.)

Tim, We'll see you in there although a day or two late. Big Jims run is relatively small and I noted to James to simply jump in there... Yotaman is part of Jims team so it will be quite the PMC run.

Heck if Tahoe does not pan out, I might be right behind you on Thursday.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Don,
Looks like I might be heading up on tue morning, iffen you are not leaving until noon, maybe I will say good bye to wife when she leaves for work just before 8:00 puts me there right bout noonish, otherwise I will leave early, and be there around 9:00 ish.

If you do not see me before you leave, do not worry or wait for me, I will jump in somewhere I am sure there are spots for little ole me.

The above is the optimal plan, but if for some reason, work does not let me get away, I will come up and just hook up with whom ever is around, heck I might even run into Tony. And Tony iffen we do run into each other, it has been way to long since we wheeled together, it should be a fun run.

I agree Michael, way too long.

but I sure like your approach about simply jumping in where ever and going with it! Everyone is pretty much headed to the same spot... even if we don't currently know where that spot is for 2010 Rubithon. :)

Michael, gotta agree with Tony. I'd love to Cruise in with you...never wheeled with you before...(and it is fun watching and wheeling other 40's) but if the Godfather says you have to work or you need to slip some tongue before you leave home than I'm sure you can catch up. Pretty sure we'll be gone around 10am tues...but then you never know?
I'd really like to see if you can hide underwater

I don't know about y'all but I'm going straight thru to the springs! Ross says so.
Don't worry Don you'll hear Michael coming. Crash bang boom thud. :)
Sounds like darn near a PMC run at 7 Thurs then huh?

Is anyone droppin in the Tahoe side ? I don't wanna hear about the conditions just wanna know if anyone besides the Monday crew is going down the short way ?

John, do you know something we don't know ???

James, when are you starting your expedition?

Plan to be at the loon trailhead dam at 6:30 to 7 am Thurs after I drop truck/trailer at Ice House. You'll have to keep a close eye out for me. remember the runner is camo. :)

Don,
Sad to say, but as it now stands I will not get out of here until tue mid day puts me in late tue or wed morn at loon. Also you are probably correct We will eventually catch up.

James,
Remember there is snow around, only Phil can move unseen this trip. With your cammo it will just be,"hey look at that moving bush, oh wait that's James".

John,
Whats the matter, you dont want to wheel with PMC, or do you just dont like going with the flow of things?

Don, I don't know chit. I am just trying to plan. Heres my options. I am tired of running the trail after the wagons stack it so I am trying to get on the trail by Wed. ahead of wagons or Emmy and I will drop in Tahoe side conditions permitting. So it is a decision to drop truck and trailer at Tahoe and head down or just pull straight to Loon and go in Tues. behind you. We'll see. Emmy is pretty excited and could care less but would prefer the quick in on Tahoe side then I can wheel up on Thurs. to see eevryone comin in. IMO the trail will be clear on Loon side all the way to springs and the wagons are gonna stack, no matter what they say, they always do.

I'm playing the exit by ear...taking extra 10 gallons of gas just in case we have to go back to Loon. I really expect someone to have busted through from Tahoe by the time we're exiting next weekend.

Mudrak and his cast of characters (was going to say merry-men but that wouldn't be right) will be coming down the Tahoe Side Monday if it is clear. Wed, typically the mog crew, this year with out the mog, Tony and others come down the Tahoe side. If Mudrak and Crew don't make it down that way they will be letting the Wed Crew know the conditions. If nothing is heard that means it is clear.

John, you should just run in with Wed Group. Start early and you'll be a head of the Wagon's or go by them at the top of walker at Lunch time. Don't come down Tahoe side by yourself, always better in a group.

I'll be trying to keep up with Tony, what ever day that ends up being. Without Cindy in the rig that might be hard. Might have to hang a cow bell on him so I know where he is, unless he has his CB or I can see his hand waving at me to hurry up.

Dave

Thats what I was thinking Dave. Will hear by noon on Monday if the Tahoe side is toast.

Gas

OK guys try to follow me here ???? any of you guys going in at loon ? I will have my truck & trailer hopefully down at spillway ? or at ski Chalet ! You guys can leave gas cans,or anything else in bed if you want ? I can take back to July swap meet for you to pick up ?? also I will have some toy parts in truck bed ,rear axles, diff,& knuckles ,chevy steering box ,etc If you need parts ,take what you need !!! LETS GO ALL READY ~

Thanks 55Guy. John Pardi is also leaving packaged up boxes of wag bags for the formal groups at the trail head chalet. Big Jim and Mudrak, one will be there marked Rubithon Thur Mrn, or Mudrak Dbl Lckr, or something like that. Feel free to distribute... and we figure if someone stold them, they would still be going to a good use... eventually.

I know a lot of folks have grand ambitions about Tahoe... and who am I to say. but it still looks pretty snow bound as of Friday. I hope Mudrak's week in the snow is still fresh in his mnd. I am currently scheduled to go in Tahoe with the mog crew on Wed. If we are unsuccessful, we'll loop around to Loon... I suspect even if we hit the trail at 4 PM on Wed, we'd still run into every body at the first deep snow. :)

I'm tempted to go right to Loon on Wed, if that is the case, we can coordinate to meet.

Extra gas is a good idea Don... even if you don't need it, someone else will.

the trail head and bowl are clear of snow, which means there will be plenty of parking. Like James, I like to park at Ice House.

Roger is still planning for Tuesday Loon, so if anyone gets up there that early, they can tag along with him.

and of course, if anyone has any issues while coming over the Sierra headed home, you are welcome to contact Cindy (directions) and stop/use our home in Auburn.

also, should we not make the springs, the camp plan is spread out along the trail... and not bunch up (like an event). Obviously we'll need to spread the camping load.

I am leaving Monday morning want to get there early to get the best
snow bank to build my igloo. Any want to go with me give me a call.
Put the snow plow on the truck today. Boggers Chains all around. Driving the dark side so the force will be with me. or not. got to go pack
