Anyone have a diagram of where and how the front locker wiring harness routes? Mine was removed by the PO.

And yes, I googled first but couldn't find anything other than it ends up in the passenger kick panel. But even there in not sure exactly what I'm looking at.

The main thing is how does it get inside?

Thanks.

Not sure where it goes through the firewall but in the kick panel there is the locker Ecu with 3 plugins I believe. 1 harness to the magic dial. 1 to front under hood around the cruise module and other routes to rear. Sorry don't have much else as I had most the wiring there already. At least for the front.

Somewhere in here?!

Welcome to owning a cruiser! I recommend picking up a copy of the FSM and an EWD. Ask around and google if you dont know what those things are. Lockers are really cool and try driving in figure 8s if you have trouble with them. Make sure to engage the cdl

Cheers

I'm not new to Land Cruisers. I've owned an 80 series since 1992. I also own a FSM for my 1993 however it does not lay out how the wiring harness run for the front locker.

As there isn't a wiring harness installed (as I mentioned the PO removed it) I could do figure 8s until the cows come home and the front locker is never going to engage.

Cool yeah bro just enjoy the addiction and dont trip on the head gasket issues.

What harness? The axle harness runs from the actuator and switch, to the passenger fender well near the cruise control and air filter, where it plugs into the main harness.

That's what I was thinking when I looked at the EWD but threads kept referencing that it goes in to the passenger kick panel so I was all confused. Plus I have the Slee washer bottle relocation kit and can't see anything in that corner.

Thanks for your help.

Can't do it tonight anyway because the actuator plug (I think that's what it is) is broken.

Orange circle shows where the plug is broken. I can make this one work but it won't be water tight. Recommendations?

Red circle I think I can just replace that actuator. I think it's the same as the Center Diff actuator.

Just installed my front locker and want to route the locker harness from the firewall plug to the axle.

Can't find a diagram in the FSM or EWD that shows the harness path from the firewall or axle. Can someone point me in the right direction, please?
