Has anyone tried to utilize the hollow tube in the rear of the frame?
Could store something in there. Like a pry bar or smuggle a rare snake across the border ;)

I am installing my rear airbags. Routing both to the drivers side and then thru fire wall to compressor. Wondering if there is any downside to running it thru this tube instead of across the frame near hot exhaust tubing and moving suspension. I’m putting a protective split tubing sheath over the tubing. Rear wheels shouldn’t make contact. Maybe some mud dirt rocks and UV light would hit it more…

Sounds like a good idea to me.

Mine mostly just collects a motley mix of dirt, dust and gravel. Might as well put it to good use.

Some clever soul ought to figure out how to make it into an air reservoir.

Or I was thinking one of those pressurized showers. Bet the exhaust heat or just absorption heat of the metal would heat up some water. And lower center of gravity.
One concern I had was the body technically has some movement on the frame so potentially could pinch the line…but thinking this is highly unlikely.

I think you’ll have lots of clearance from the body.

Yeah. I ran it along the length of the frame so any movement (which will be minuscule) will do the least squishing. Crossing the frame at 90 deg could potentially pinch in a couple tight spots.

It should hold around 1 gallon of volume, estimating a 3" diameter x 45 inches long.
It would me sweet if you could safely pressure it to a constant 150 psi.
Input on one side, output on the other.
