Windshield washer line.

Anyone happen to the size (dia) of the supply line between reservoir and cowling? My resident rodent didn't like my existing one. Just want to be able to go in once not twice, once to identify and second trip to repair. TIA

On a related topic, an ozone generator with a smart phone operated switch for a garage is a great way to keep the critters out. I run it once a week at night for an hour and zero signs of new droppings and it actually kills smells and mold as well. I also keep all the lights on in the garage. I must note that our garage is detached and i open the door remote to ensure ventilation before entering. It goes without saying that breathing in Ozone is very bad and I am sure wil kill you like it does critters and even roaches. So be careful with this potent way of chasing out critters. It works like a charm though!

After success with the ozone generator I bought three more for the attic. Only run them when we are more than a day away from the house. When we return we ventilate opening front and rear door for a while. Good thing is that the attic is a separate space and you do not really smell it in the house. Just be safe though.

Like this or equivalent. Have run this for 30 min in our vehicles as well to kill AC mold (running the AC and fan in the process) and anything else in the vehicle carpet and upholstery.

I just spent 6 hours replacing the rear washer pump on the reservoir. The I.D. of the hose looks to be about .200” or 5mm. Hope you don’t need to drop the reservoir to remove the hose. It’s a bitch.

Thanks so much, my issue I think is about half way to firewall if drip is true. I plan to get enough line to splice accordingly. Glad my issue doesn't appear to require reservoir removal. PIA I'm sure but has to be done. Thanks again

When you remove the passenger side wheel and wheel liner you will have access to this line. Indeed a splice could be an option yet could create a restriction. Once you are in there it is probably worth replacing the whole thing, even if that means dropping the washer tank (or washer jar as Toyota calls it).

Edit - The washer tank is driver side, that was a typo. Otherwise well-meant advice...
