Rough Idle and Poor Gas Mileage (1 Viewer)

Hey All I have gotten many of the bugs worked out of my 1994 Cruiser but I am still having an issue with a slight miss at Idle, and Poor Mileage. It is idling a little high at about 1100 rpm. I am getting 10 miles per gallon every tank since I have had it running. It has New Rotor, Cap, Spark Plugs, seals, and wires. Most of the Emissions system replaced and cleaned. TB Cleaned. I Have not rebuilt the injectors yet. Where do I start? thanks.

I had similar issues that ended up being the O2 sensors.

is your check engine light on? poor mileage is just par for the course but you should be seeing more like 11-12

I'm at 9.7 mpg

Is it throwing any codes? Otherwise there's a million places those symptoms could start. For instance, mine was high idling (1500+) in park and neutral and turned out to be cooling sensor and sender unit. Could be as simple as a bad vacuum line. Although my O2's are also basically fried....sigh i have to sort out my exhaust soon.

multiple things could be attributed to that,do you still have EGR and PAIR?your high idle does sound like a vacuum leak as stated above.check your throttle cable as well if you removed the throttle body to clean it.
i was getting 10mpg city before i removed my pair and EGR,now its 10.5 to 11 city,stock gears 305/70-16 tires.
